Title: Maintenance Electrician Location: Palmetto, GA 30268 Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Compensation: $32.50 per hour and tops out at $34.50 after one (1) year (Raises every 3 months) + OT Anything over 8 hours per day is considered OT. Raises every 3 months. Travel: No Travel Position Description: As a Maintenance Electrician at PHV Corp, you will perform various tasks with an electrical focus on the repair and maintenance of machinery, facilities, and equipment. The technician exercises technical independence in determining work methods and procedures with tasks ranging from reading blueprints and installing new electrical devices to troubleshooting complex system issues. You will install electrical conduit, wiring, control panels, data lines, switching devices, PLCs, controls, fixtures, motors, outlets, and other such equipment following applicable codes such as NEC, UL, and NFPA, as necessary. Demonstrate leadership in this capacity through the work area and project cleanliness, neatness, and standardization of installation behaviors. You will also perform diagnostic tests, and maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, pyrometers, pressure gauges, tachometers, light meters, thermal imagers, potentiometers, multi-meters, and other instrumentation devices. You will conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections of assigned equipment, report findings, and take corrective actions where possible. Requirements: --- 5+ years Electro-Mechanical experience. --- Must understand PLC programming and controls in an automated environment. --- Familiarity with conveyors, gearboxes, and electric motors, pumps, and compressors
