Alera Group's business model is motivated by the desire to find a better way to serve clients nationally without losing the independent thinking and values of our founding firms.RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage team of 5-7 resources that administer Windows Servers, Azure Cloud, Office 365 collaboration, Zoom Meetings and Phone, storage, and other systems. * Maintain and execute Server Roadmap by balancing day-to-day operations with implementation of projects and continuous improvement activities. * Identify areas for improvement across IT and develop strategies to close gaps within the Systems Engineering function. * Perform resource planning and allocation for day-to-day operations and project work. * Build effective relationships within Technology and with various business stakeholders in a decentralized business model. * Be able to assist in hands-on technical delivery as needed. * Contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and other ITIL functions as it relates to the server, storage, and infrastructure environments. * Plan and execute projects around consolidation and migration of acquired firms IT environments. * Operate as a subject matter expert and escalation point for the Service Desk and other IT teams. * Interface with vendors and partners to evaluate and implement infrastructure solutions.QUALIFICATIONS * Associate's degree or higher, preferably in an IT, CS, or MIS field. * 3+ years of experience managing a team of technical resources in an enterprise environment. * 6+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and support in an enterprise environment. * 4+ years of experience in Active Directory and Entra ID, including SSO and MFA. * 3+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure build and support. * 3+ years of experience in VMWare and Hyper-V. * Experience managing storage area networks, preferably PURE Storage. * Extensive knowledge of Powershell and/or other automation and scripting tools. * Extensive project experience, both as individual contributor and managing project teams, in server and storage migration, and Active Directory consolidation. * Experience with networking in a Windows environment, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and other related technologies. * Ability to be on call and work off-hours as needed. * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. * Demonstrated problem solving and customer service skills.BENEFITSWe're an equal opportunity employer.
