As we continue to grow and go from strength to strength, we have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Supervisor to join us. The main roles for the position will be: Accurately accounting for goods inwards, checking off deliveries and booking stock in correctly. Ensuring all colleagues accurately complete pick notes for customers collecting goods from the yard. Accurately picking and correctly palletizing goods to be delivered to customers. Efficient, safe storage of stock in the yard and storage buildings. Liasing with the contract & sales teams regarding deliveries and stock levels. Ensuring staff are working effectively and efficiently as part of the yard team. Ensuring the team always following correct health and safety procedures, to include wearing the correct PPE. Motivate the team to meet business expectations Any other duties deemed reasonable within the scope of the job role. What are the requirements for the role: Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday 06:50-16:50 plus some Saturday mornings 08:00-13:00. Previous experience of supervising a team of individuals. Excellent communication and organization skills Ability to lead by example Calm under pressure. Current forklift license.
