Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Shift Team Leader for our clients Duxford location. As a Engineering Shift Team Leader, you will manage and control the day: to: day activities of the shift engineers by providing timely and proactive communication of work status, escalation and updates to the right people at the right time. You will also promote, develop and sustain problem solving techniques across the shift engineering team and participate in planned maintenance activities during equipment shutdowns. If you were already in this Engineering Shift Team Leader role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week: Ensuring accurate and timely completion of shift logs and CMMS work orders Ensure the inventory is kept up to date and ordered promptly Effectively managing and developing the shift engineering services and ensuring accurate timekeeping and holiday rotation Promoting, developing and sustaining problem: solving techniques Participating in planned maintenance activities during equipment shutdowns, effectively monitoring downtime information, and identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions for this Engineering Shift Team Leader role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: A HNC (or nationally recognised equivalent) A mechanical or Electrical qualification or a nationally recognised apprenticeship ATEX, DSEAR and Comp Ex training Experience in IOSHs 18th Edition / Hydraulic, Pneumatic/Controls Confined space training and Permit training In return for your passion, collaborative approach and commitment, youll receive a generous salary and benefits package together with a shift premium and join a friendly and inclusive culture.
