As a Transport and Warehouse Operative, youll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of yourself, your team, and the smooth operation of our warehouse areas. Working across all sections of our warehouse, youll support various warehouse duties while adhering strictly to local and workplace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold a secure work environment. Key Responsibilities: : Championing Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety by strictly following SOPs and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines. Facilitate team safety meetings to reinforce safety protocols and foster a culture of safety awareness. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment following defined procedures to achieve set objectives safely and efficiently. Quality Assurance: Participate in audits and checks to ensure compliance with work procedures and maintain set quality standards. Warehouse Operations: Engage in various line and warehouse operations, which may include operating machinery, mobile plant, and equipment. SAP Operation: Utilize SAP to accurately record all coil movements within the designated area, contributing to efficient inventory management. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in identifying best practices and improvements, supporting their implementation to enhance warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
