The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for leading all aspects of curriculum development, including the effective design, development and delivery of training through Teck’s Learning Management System, as well as class-based and on-the-job training. You will play a meaningful role in supporting and evolving the organization’s training initiatives, with overall responsibility for e-learning and curriculum design and development. This position offers a 6-month contract to start, with a potential for extension. Responsibilities: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Develop new courses in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise and working with subject matter experts to plan, review and revise material for each business unit Develop a training tailored program, including content creation, curriculum design, and instructional materials development Implement backssment methods to verify user competence throughout the training program, including continuous evaluation and formal backssments at the program's conclusion Conduct post-training evaluations at intervals of 3, 6, and 9 months to ensure the retention and application of acquired skills, adjusting training strategies as needed to improve long-term efficiency Update course information, videos, graphics in Storyline and Rise Launch new and updated courses in Teck’s LMS, Success Factors Participate in the backssment of the training needs of internal business clients and prioritize e Learning initiatives.
