What will you do as a Field Application Specialist? You will apply your product knowledge of LMI sensor and networking products to support validation and post-sales activities at a technical level. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability for developing excellent customer relationships while supporting the successful use of LMI products to ensure sales development plans are met. It is preferred that the successful incumbent has experience in the lumber processing and optimization field as this role will work closely with clients in the wood industry. As a Field Application Specialist it will be your responsibility to work closely with our customers to resolve any technical issues they may encounter as well as interact with other members of the sales team to support sales activities. Through such activities as application testing and troubleshooting complex support issues you will be in contact with a diverse customer base to understand their machine vision application requirements and provide solutions utilizing LMI Technologies products in a timely manner. Beyond providing technical support and application solutions you will also be required to perform a wide variety of tasks to help achieve the growth initiatives of the sales team.
