The Maintenance Industrial Electrician is an integral team member of our Plastics Injection Molding Manufacturing operation, who helps to keep our 24/5 plant running by applying preventative maintenance, assist with installation of new equipment & assembly cells, and be involved with troubleshooting & repairs. Under the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Electrician, will diagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate test instruments and circuit diagrams. You will ensure equipment is maintained efficiently, and kept in good repair, including, and not limited to all mechanical, electrical, computer aided, and plumbing technologies used to manufacture, package, store, and ship products. You will also perform all electrical preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, 5S, and facility repairs or maintenance work as assigned. Provide support with all automation equipment & systems, including robots, vision systems and PLC programming. What you can expect as our next Maintenance Industrial Electrician: Provide routine maintenance and inspection injection molding machines, tower water, thermolators, compressors, material conveying equipment / system, dryers, and other associated auxiliary equipment. Provide ongoing electrical maintenance and inspection of Injection Molding Machines to support the production work schedule and customer demands Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics schematics Good knowledge of machine shop practices and welding experience Assist with managing all facets of the plant equipment, buildings, and grounds. Program/troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, Robots and vision systems Assemble and install monitoring systems on machinery and equipment Modify machinery and equipment/overhaul as directed Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need.
