Accounting Clerk

Description:
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will play a vital role in our finance department, assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes. Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions. Assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed. Provide support for audits and other financial inquiries. Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. CPA certification or pursuit of CPA certification is a plus.
