<p>Description:<br />Preference: candidates local to Pleasanton is ideal, but open to remote candidates within US. ***Please be sure to add candidate location at the top of the resume***</p><p>Market Size, Share, Growth and Composition:</p><ul><li>Deliver robust market and revenue model projections through extensive data analysis and collaboration on a global level</li><li>Refine market modeling to continuously improve team deliverables, including market book, quarterly and monthly reports, as well as competitive profiles</li><li>Careful analysis of available data and determination of knowledge gaps; become subject matter expert on diverse databases and uses</li><li>Translate data into trends with strategic importance and business impact</li><li>Interpret and contextualize analytical findings within the framework of existing body of research and data</li></ul><p><br />Competitive Analysis:</p><ul><li>Lead and contribute to competitive monitoring initiatives, derive and distill insights on both traditional and emerging competitors around the world, and communicate these insights in a clear, structured, and timely manner</li><li>Provide timely competitive insights reporting and alerts to advance competitive readiness</li><li>Conduct ad hoc analysis of key competitive moves to contextualize them and provide a deeper level of understanding to the organization</li><li>Build relationships with affiliates and establish communication channels to exchange competitive news and information</li><li>Attend trade shows or conferences and provide synthesized reports on the event and competitive actions</li></ul><p><br />Market Research:</p><ul><li>Partner with business stakeholders to understand the information they need to make decisions and the options they have to obtain the data</li><li>Maintain vendor relationships and work with Procurement to continuously streamline and improve the ability of business teams to gain insights from customers, physicians, patients, and other healthcare system stakeholders as required</li><li>Manage vendors and internal teams during project duration to ensure alignment on findings and project delivery</li></ul><p><br />Ad Hoc Projects:</p><ul><li>In collaboration with Lifecycle teams, develop, refine, and communicate insights by analyzing data from multiple sources, including primary and secondary research, competitive intelligence, and financial performance</li><li>Contribute to initiatives such as overall market assessments, “fact base” and other resources to catalyze strategic discussion</li><li>Manage competitive workshops, scenario discussions, and other leadership forums to share market and customer insights and discuss both opportunities and implications for Roche</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Undergraduate degree required; master’s degree, MBA or Ph.D. in business or the life sciences preferred</li><li>Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical or medical device industries preferred; diagnostics experience strongly preferred.
