This role would suit someone who is Cork based. Position: Civil Foreman Location: Cork Salary: Competitive salary and package on offer Our client, a leading Civil and Construction Contractor in business over 20 years, are now looking to recruit a Civil Foreman to join their team in Cork. This role would suit someone who is Cork based. Main Responsibilities: Management & co‐ordination of all works on site. Ensure the site diary is completed accurately and compile photographic records. Timely ordering of materials to carry out works. Liaising with Estimator and Project Manager to highlight any unforeseen costs and additional works. Read and implement construction drawings on site, temporary work designs etc. Ensuring best practice across site and that company policy in health, safety and quality is adhered to. Management of Sub‐contractors, monitoring all works carried out etc. Implementation and supervision of Traffic Management Plans on live carriageways Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, within the Civil Industry in Ireland/UK. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or the relevant experience. Experience with pipelines, RC work and temporary works an advantage Managing Safely in Construction/SMSTS/ Safe Pasinteractionperience in developing risk backssments, method statements, inspection & test plans.
