TPF Recruitment are supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Canterbury who are searching for a Personal Tax Manager to join their tax team. You will work closely with the partners, supporting the future growth and development of the tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding accountancy practice in an exciting position offering fantastic exposure and future progression prospects. Our client is offering flexible working hours and a hybrid working pattern. There is a lot of flexible on the remit of this position and a large proportion of the responsibilities will be built around the candidates experience and aspirations. As a Personal Tax Manager in Canterbury, you will be responsible for: Management of the compliance activities for a portfolio of mixed personal tax clients. : Advisory work for client portfolio across IHT, CGT etc. : Act as principal contact for clients in your portfolio. : Management of the compliance function for the department as a whole. : Input into and involvement in the offices marketing strategy. : Expanding work from existing client base and involvement in business development activities where appropriate. : Providing technical support and development of the tax team and development of tax specialists. Requirements As a Personal Tax Manager in Canterbury, you will be: : Ideally CTA and/or, ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified, You will have developed a personal tax career within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm. 5+ years experience working within personal tax Benefits : GBP 50,000 : GBP 60,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable : 26 days annual leave + bank Holidays : Death in service scheme : Full CPD support : Competitive pension scheme : Extensive benefits platform.
