Lecturer in Hairdressing and Barbering Full time, 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year£32,732 - £39,096 per annum We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to join our team as a Hairdressing and Barbering course leader and lecturer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering professional and technical qualifications to our students, across various pathways in hairdressing and barbering. Responsibilities: · Lead courses within the Hair and Beauty curriculum, ensuring the delivery of outstanding classes. · Plan and execute engaging and informative lessons, incorporating practical sessions alongside relevant theoretical knowledge. · Support and develop the professional and technical skills of each student, fostering a culture of excellence. · Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum, staying updated with industry trends and best practices. · Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment, catering to the diverse needs of our students. Requirements: · Extensive experience in the field of hairdressing and barbering, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques. · Vocational qualification in hairdressing and barbering, minimum Level 3. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students. · Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays, accommodating the schedules of our learners. · Passion for education and a commitment to empowering individuals to reach their full potential. · Applicants will preferably hold a teaching qualification and experience but alternatively be a highly skilled practitioner in their field and so bring a wealth of abilities and knowledge that would benefit our students at every educational level.
