We are seeking a patient, caring Support Worker to look after a 13: year: old with cerebral palsy who is non: verbal. The roleincludes personal care and manual handling and supporting her in her day: to: day life. We are searching for a Support Worker who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn't have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Initially, this is a temporary rolewith the opportunity to be employed permanently after an initial trial period. Please note that previous experience in complex care and a driver's license is required for this role. Successful Applicant: : Must have previous experience with clients living with cerebral palsy and requiring complex care, as well as experience with peg feeding. : Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, weekends).
