We are looking for a Plant EC&I Technician to work on a permanent basis for a well-established company The Package: The basic salary for the Plant EC&I Technician role is £42,000 per annum You'll also receive other benefits which include the following: Employee assistance programme Life insurance Access to a company pension scheme Volunteering opportunities We are looking for a Plant EC&I Technician to work on a permanent basis for a well-established company The Package: The basic salary for the Plant EC&I Technician role is £42,000 per annum You'll also receive other benefits which include the following: Employee assistance programme Life insurance Access to a company pension scheme Volunteering opportunities The Role: As the Plant EC&I Technician you are responsible for ensuring that all planned operational and preventive maintenance tasks are carried out on a daily, weekly and monthly basis are compliant with all relevant Company policies and procedures, local regulations and in line with UK best practice. As the Plant EC&I Technician you will be responsible for: Maintaining electrical installations & equipment Testing of alarms and safety systems Fault finding on electrical systems Testing of Portable Appliances Installation of light industrial wiring systems Undertaking work based risk backssments Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with Company policies & procedures and relevant approved codes of practice ATEX Inspections Ensuring that relevant standards and codes are applied and adhered to throughout the delivery, operation and maintenance of EC&I fixed assets Ensuring asset risk is reduced by specifying the preventative and reactive maintenance tasks and defining relevant task frequencies across EC&I fixed assets Providing expertise and consultancy to staff and business customers alike regarding matters associated with EC&I asset maintenance standards Challenge inefficiencies and inaccuracies and provide solutions in line with IEG values Participating.
