This role will be based in the Atlanta, GA area. Check us out at www.hbssolutionsinc.com . The Job The HVAC Technician will be responsible for on-site installations and maintenance. This role applies engineering principles and practices to complete assigned projects, implement cost effective solutions to meet project requirements and develops positive working relationships with all company team members and customers. This role will be remote in the Atlanta, GA area. Roles and Responsibilities Perform installation, programming, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of building automation systems and standalone controls for HVAC Systems. Perform HVAC Tune-ups. Perform Energy Audits with the support of the Engineering team. Knowledge to troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC Control Systems. Knowledge of configuring BAS / DDS programs, graphics, and alarms for site specific control systems. Develop Field Reports in support of Engineering Team Energy Auditing Documentation. Install Data Logging Devices for Energy Consumption Monitoring. Uses a variety of hand tools and test equipment. Obtain required signed documents from clients. Maintains accurate project and timekeeping records. Qualifications High school diploma, plus 2-year technical degree. Experience with commercial HVAC Equipment a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis. Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather. Attention to detail; and must be able to follow directions and work independently. Ability to crawl in tight places, climb ladders and work on roofs. Strong troubleshooting skills. Utilizes a variety of hand tools and equipment; maintains tools and equipment for proper functionality. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Demonstrates ability to manage time and job needs across multiple projects. Daily travel with occasional overnight stays, reliable transportation. Work independently and be self-motivated. Clean profession appearance. Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required. Other duties as required. Powered by JazzHR
