Joining team in Fresno, CA, the candidate will:Job Overview:Build client relationships with K-12 schools and community colleges.Assist clients in the individualized education program process.Present workshops, review, and revise policies and procedures.Respond to state and federal compliance complaints and administrative due process hearings outside traditional litigation's adversarial context.Duties:Develop and maintain strong client relationships with K-12 schools and community colleges.Provide legal assistance in the individualized education program process.Conduct workshops for clients and stakeholders.Review and revise policies and procedures to ensure compliance.Respond to state and federal compliance complaints promptly.Represent clients in administrative due process hearings.Requirements:Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Membership in the State Bar of California.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Member of the State Bar of California.Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Benefits Offered:Positive, collegial, intellectually stimulating work environment.Reasonable billable hours requirement.Billable hours bonuses and annual discretionary bonuses.Generous health insurance benefits.401(k) with profit-sharing contributions.
