Java Architect--INFOSYS Saint Luis, MO (Remote Job) 12 months contract $85/hr billing rate Skills: --- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. --- t least 10 years of experience in Information Technology. --- t least 8+ years of experience with Java/J2EE and Spring boot --- t least 5 years of experience in J2EE/JAVA design experience in combination of new design/build projects as well as post-production maintenance. --- t least 4 years of experience in Java IDE's such as the Eclipse or Intellij IDEA. --- t least 4 years of experience in consuming and creating SOAP APIs, RESTful implementations. --- t least 4 years of experience in Micro-Services. --- Hands-on experience working on Angular 2 or above --- Hands-on experience in Unix. Additional skills: --- Hands on experience on Kafka implementation --- Experience in MVC, Hibernate. --- Experience in Spring Batch. --- Experience in Splunk / ELK. --- Experience in Apache Tomcat, JBOSS EAP. --- gile experience is preferred. --- bility to work in team environment and client interfacing skills. --- bility to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment --- Good Analytical skills Responsibilities: --- Meeting with the business team to discuss features and requirements. --- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs. --- Leading the implementation for the SMART project from technical standpoint --- Design application features which are future ready and that fulfill client requirements --- Mentor offshore/onshore team to help them write well-written code that runs efficiently and optimally --- ttend offshore calls at night so that team has required knowledge / info to work on deliverables --- Test completed software and debug as necessary --- Examine existing code and recommend patches, design overhauls or fixes for broken code --- Help out with UAT & PROD deployments as and when required
