The purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance & cleaning support in Axioms plastic injection molding facility. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for preventative maintenance activities, including but not limited to, cleaning and lubing injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to manufactures specifications as well as maintenance and automation of robots. You will also be required to clean/maintain the plant floor facilities and equipment. What you can expect as our next Maintenance Technician: Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, etc. ), Clean up spills with appropriate equipment when required. Conduct preventative maintenance activities and record information as required. This includes cleaning and lubing injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to manufactures specifications as well as maintenance and automation of robots Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces Assist / conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and in facility as required Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action Performs general plant maintenance, including checking and replacing faulty lighting throughout the facility, and basic plumbing repairs Painting, cleaning and assembly of miscellaneous items / equipment as required Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices, Maintain a safe and clean work environment Ensure compliance / enforcement of Axiom Plastics plant standards Performs all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations Perform additional tasks as assigned Maybe required to assist other departments.
