The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Additionally, candidates must be a member (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or be willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar. Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in real estate transactions, particularly in the areas of Affordable Housing and Tax CreditsDraft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and leasesConduct due diligence reviews of title and survey mattersNegotiate and draft easements, leases, and other real estate documentsAssist with the structuring and financing of affordable housing projectsHandle closings and facilitate the transfer of real propertyAdvise clients on regulatory compliance issues related to affordable housing and tax credit programs Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolMember (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission to the Florida Bar2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate lawStrong background in title and survey mattersKnowledge of easements, leases, and real estate transactionsExcellent academic credentialsStrong writing, analytical, and communication skills Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Membership (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar Skills:Legal research and analysisDrafting and reviewing legal documentsNegotiation and communicationTitle and survey reviewReal estate transactional experienceKnowledge of Affordable Housing and Tax Credits regulatory framework This Florida-based firm represents many of the state's most successful companies and offers full-service legal representation on a statewide basis.
