WORK ILLUSTRATION: Reporting to the Director, IT Portfolio Management Office, the Senior Manager, IT Portfolio Management (Operations) will be responsible for the on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery of IT strategic and divisional projects for the designated business unit(s). Supports the organization’s day-to-day utilization of the designated IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) software applications and business partners. Leading a team of supervisors and professionals, the incumbent acts as the liaison between internal and external environments; collaborates and partners with the business units to execute process improvement initiatives, feasibility studies, and business case evaluations. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for responding to system interruption incidents and acting as first response to backss and dispatch appropriate IT resources to recover and restore services to technology systems. The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Leads a team of supervisors, technical and business professionals (internal and external) to deliver on time, on budget, and quality implementation of IT solutions using the prescribed project management methodologies. • Recommends methodologies and IT solutions metrics that best fit the project in support of corporate and IT business goals. • Oversees project plan design and execution, and third- party contracting. • Collaborates and partners with designated business unit(s) to drive decision making and process improvement using best practices, analytics and advanced technologies. • Promotes and encourages business leaders across the organization to drive further optimization, productivity, customer satisfaction and operational excellence using business digital transformation and automation. • Implements.
