Elite Staffing Network is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Concentra in Minneapolis, MN. qualifications required Any of the following licenses/certifications in the state of Minnesota (MN): Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) Valid Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Valid National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license/certification 2+ years experience in any of the following: Occupational Health Urgent Care preferred Valid Department of Transportation Medical Examiner (DOT Medical Examiner) license/certification Job Type: Locum Location: On-Site, Blaine, MNSchedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm Setting: Clinic - appointments and walk-in's (occupational health / urgent care) Assignment Duration: Ends 12/29, will likely extend Perks: - Opportunity to operate with an independent nature and a focus on quality care - Positive impact on patients' lives daily - Collaborate with a team of expert colleagues - Potential for growth and development within the organization Qualifications: - State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program OR Graduate of an accredited PA program or an accredited university - Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a related specialty - DOT Medical Examiner Certification is a plus (if not obtained already, we will provide reimbursement and $1,000 bonus in order to obtain this certification). Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat work-related injuries - Perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies - Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis - Perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers and provide medical guidance - Exhibit Orange Book characteristics including welcoming, skillful and respectful behaviors at all times - Completes all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner - Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies - Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure adherence to medical and professional standards - Participate in quality management processes and encourage proficiency in clinical support activities - Communicate with client representatives and patients following treatment or changes in status Benefits: - Competitive Compensation - Internal Growth Opportunity - Opportunity to enhance leadership skills and join medical expert panels About Concentra Concentra, a division of Select Medical, is a national health care company focused on improving the health of Americas workforce, one patient at a time.
