Description:
Ratios: 1:6 for floor for surgical/medicine inpatient patients. Surgical Stepdown patients will be managed by stepdown trained nurse. Patient Diagnoses: Wide range of patient diagnoses that have had or plan to have surgery or involved in a trauma: Cellulitis, Appendicitis, Cholecystitis, Diverticulitis, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Gun Shots, Stabbings, Falls, Various Cancers, Kidney Stones, Bowel Obstruction, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Limb Ischemia, Hernia, Gangrene. Requirements Must have 2 years of surgical unit experience. Certs: BLS.
