Because of continued demand, this employer is actively recruiting a Industrial Gearbox Technician to permanently join their Leeds based facility. This position is purely Workshop based, however, the successful Industrial Gearbox Technician will be given the option to occasionally work in the field on customer premises. Key responsibilities of the Industrial Gearbox Technician will include: Working as part of a team that is responsible for the overhaul, maintenance and repair of heavy rotating equipment & machinery Stripping/dismantling, inspecting, diagnosing faults and testing a range of rotating machinery including Transmissions For the Industrial Gearbox Technician position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess: Possess formal qualifications within a relevant discipline Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc. Previous experience working in an maintenance, assembly or building role, ideally focused on heavy rotating machinery pumps, transmissions, compressors, turbines, valves, diesel engines etc. In return, the Industrial Gearbox Technician will receive: Renumeration: Between.
