Job: Decorator Technician – West London Pay Rate: Up to £22.12 per hour Hours: 37.5 per week Start: ASAPJob Description An exciting opportunity for a Decorator Technician to work for a housing association based in West London to join our Damp, Mould and Decorating team. The candidate must focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and complete any job to high standards of the job specification. About the Job You'll be responsible for carrying out damp and mould treatments, ventilation surveys and make good decoration to our customers homes. Top notch customer service skills, enthusiasm and a 'can-do' attitude will all be essential as you'll be an ambassador for the company as you go from property to property carrying out work to the highest of standards. The job role will involve: Apply mould wash to surfaces measuring surface areas and working out how much paint or wall covering is neededstripping off old wallpaper or layers of paintfilling holes and cracks and making sure surfaces are levelcovering surfaces with primer and undercoatapplying coats of painthanging wallpaperadding special finishes like glazes or marblingtidying up after finishingcleaning tools and equipment Candidate Requirements NVQ / C&G Level 2 Qualification Desirable Full UK Driving Licence Previous Decorator Experience 3+ years Working in Social Housing.
