New Job Opportunity - Senior Level Mechanical Engineer: New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Baltimore, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer with at least 6+ years of related professional experience. Must have Need PLC experience.CERO 3D and COMSOL is highly preferred. Logistics of the Role: Full Time - Direct Hire This is a hybrid position, but will have to be onsite 5 days a week for first 6 months. After that, 1-2 days from home per week is a possibility. Compensation is dependent on experience (Our client is looking to pay within a range of 120k-200k). Day to Day Activities: Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares, or applies engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures Building of power converters - 3D Packaging Designing project frameworks related to 3D Review and oversee the manufacturing of designs. Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering - At least 3.3 GPA PLC experience. CERO 3D and COMSOL is highly preferred. Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred Must have a strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. experience in mechanical and thermal design and analysis Have a strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD understanding Must be able to read schematics and Blueprints.
