Summer Job -- Cemetery Grounds Crew Member (Temporary) Location: Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown MI Position Summary: Seasonal Grounds Crew members, known as Family Environment Specialists (FES), work May through August to support the efforts of the full time FES crew with the upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery grounds. Seasonal FESs assist with the overall cemetery appearance by cleaning up cemetery grounds, pulling trashes, doing light landscaping, and other specialty projects as assigned by the Team Leads. Compensation $15 per hour Requirements Ability and desire to work 30 to 40 hours per week A valid Michigan driver’s license and clean driving record Able to lift 100 lbs. and perform various physical tasks Education/Experience: High school diploma and one year of experience in a position that has similar essential functions Diocesan employees represent the Roman Catholic Church and are expected to conduct themselves according to the mission and principles of the church. Employment will go to those individuals whose knowledge, training and experience most closely qualifies them for the position offered without regard to race, color, creed, sex, marital status, age, disability, veteran status or national origin, except where creed, sex or ordination is a bona fide occupational qualification.
