The Role: As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support for young people aged 12 - 17 with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours. Duties: Create a nurturing environment ensuring the safety and well-being of young people. Act as a positive role model and empower young people in decision-making. Implement and review care plans to meet individual needs. Monitor and protect young people from distress or abuse. Requirements: Previously worked as a Residential Support Worker or in a similar role. Minimum 2 years experience working with young people. Holds a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent. Understanding of the needs of looked after young people with challenging behavior.
