Full Charge Bookkeeper

Shockley Bookkeeping & Tax Service seeks an experienced and dependable Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee a maximum of 30 bookkeeping accounts monthly. The position is based at our Broken Arrow location and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in bookkeeping services, possess knowledge of various payroll scenarios, and excel in client communication, both written and verbal. Key attributes for success in this role include customer service acumen and exceptional time management skills. The salary for this position is negotiable up to $50,000 annually, dependent on experience. Responsibilities:• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for approximately 20-30 companies• Ensure all books are current and accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis• Attention to detail (due diligence is a huge part of Bookkeeping)• The ability to meet deadlines• The ability to prioritize projects• Flexibility• Thrive under pressure in a sometimes fast-paced work setting• Customer service skills• Excellent Data entry Skills• Critical thinking Skills• The ability to learn, understand and communicate client data and reporting Qualifications:• Must have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience• Must have 5 years minimum of QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop experience• Must be a team player• Must be an excellent communicator via phone and/or email• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office• Must have well-kept time management skills• Must be skilled in multi-tasking• Must be detailed and deadline-oriented• Fundamental Knowledge of GAAP• Experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, AR/AP, or as a Staff Accountant is desired• Experience as a full charge bookkeeper or Staff Accountant will also be considered• Experience with all aspects of payroll processing and wage attachment• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Compensation: $18 - $24 hourly About Company: We are collaborative, supportive, and fast-paced.
