We.The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mortuary Technician to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Bedfordshire. We are looking for a Mortuary Technician who can make a real difference in supporting the hospitals mortuary service. Position: Mortuary Technician Banding: 6 Location: Bedfordshire Hours: 37.5 hrs mon-fri Duration: Ongoing We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List. What will you be doing in this Mortuary Technician role As a Mortuary Technician, you will be expected to have sufficient previous experience of working within an NHS mortuary setting, particularly experienced in doing body checks and liaising with funeral directors. On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting the senior mortuary staff in the delivery of the service.
