The Data and Business Intelligence - Research Analysis Intern will support the continued build-up and maintenance of the Edu Finance Business Intelligence and research infrastructure, which will include carrying out a piece of research to create a new publication to be used by the Edu Finance team. RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Utilise Edu Finance Monitoring & Evaluation data to answer and analyse one of the top 10 Edu Finance research questions. Support with the maintenance of data collection tools used by all Edu Finance departments, E. g. Fulcrum, Chalkboard Education, and Google Forms. Support managing integrations of external data sources into the Edu Finance database, E. g. APIs, data pipelines, Microsoft Flow, and Data Factory. Assist with administration of the Edu Finance SQL database on Microsoft Azure. Assist with data quality control of existing databases. Support with creating and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools across several departments. Assisted with generating new analyses for key insights, research, and other publications. Check that dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect the program's status. Assist with presenting analysis and data reports to the Edu Finance team and other stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS Must be enrolled in a credited college graduate or undergraduate program in data science, engineering, or other quantitative field research. Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL server, and Python preferred. Knowledge of data pipelines and entity relationship diagrams is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and the ability to use data to tell a story to convey an important message.
