The Content Development Intern will be part of the Edu Quality Product Development Team working for the Asia region. The intern will be responsible for supporting Asia’s regional coordinator with developing foundational literacy modules for Pakistan’s Teacher Mentor Professional Development Program for Year 2 and Year 3. RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Create and contextualize engaging and interactive content for literacy modules for teachers, including session plans, worksheets, quizzes, and activities. Research literacy development theories, methodologies, and best practices and integrate relevant research findings into content development. Support the regional coordinator to develop content outlines and learning objectives. Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with program goals and needs. Ensure content is culturally relevant, inclusive, and accessible to a diverse audience. Collaborate with the design team to coordinate the design of the content, either digital or paper-based, based on the program requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Literacy, Linguistics, or a related field. Strong writing skills, with a keen attention to detail. Passion for literacy development principles and educational pedagogy of Pakistan’s Education System. Proficiency in research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources. Experience with content creation tools and learning management systems is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Passion for education and a commitment to promoting literacy skills development. Proficiency in Urdu is strongly desirable. Passionate about Opportunity’s mission. Able to promote and communicate the organization’s goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders.
