Service Care Legal are currently recruiting for a London Borough Council who are seeking a Childcare Legal Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position. ROLE: Childcare Legal Assistant LOCATION: North London RATE: £20.00 to £24.00 per hour CONTRACT: 3 months with potential for extension The Role of the Childcare Legal Assistant To assist the Childcare Lawyers in progressing full caseloads of Childcare Law matters through to completion Assisting with the preparation of instructions and briefs to Counsel and the preparation of court bundles Under supervision, preparing standard legal documentation used by the Council, including court forms and order The Person A law-related qualification LPC / LLM / LLB or qualified by relevant experience Previous experience in working within the Childcare team of a local authority would be essential Working within the Childcare team of a local authority would be highly desirable The Benefits Weekly payroll Flexible working arrangements If this Childcare Legal Assistant opportunity sounds like something of interest, please feel free to reach out to Lloyd Stanley on 01772 xyzxyz, or email also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
