North Somerset Council are currently looking for a Senior Social Worker on a Locum basis to work within their Locality Team. This Social Work Team deals with a mix of processes from CIN, CP, and Court Work. What are the requirements 2 Years Post Qualifying experience. Social Work England SWE registration. Degree in social work. North Somerset Council are currently looking for a Senior Social Worker on a Locum basis to work within their Locality Team. This Social Work Team deals with a mix of processes from CIN, CP, and Court Work. What are the requirements 2 Years Post Qualifying experience. Social Work England SWE registration. Degree in social work. What sets you apart from the crowd Experience working in any of the Children In Need , Child protection, or Court Teams. Lateral and strategic thinking are key aspects in managing the caseload involved in this role. Experience in carrying out initial and core backssments whether that be face to face or remote. Experience in Child interactionual Exploitation, Domestic Violence, or Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children teams is desirable. Experience in managing a reasonably sized caseload. Robust knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures including S47 backssments. Confidence in court proceedings.
