Corporate or UCC Paralegal for NYC Law firm in downtown NYC. This role is hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days in office). The base salary range is $70 125K, DOE. We are open to someone junior or senior but with at least 2 years of experience drafting and filing UCCs.Position Summary:The UCC Paralegal provides support to attorneys in providing legal services to clients in all aspects of the Uniform Commercial Code.As a UCC Paralegal, you will:Conduct due diligence UCC/lien searches, review lien search results and prepare lien summary chartsReview underlying agreements and draft UCC Financing Statements in accordance with jurisdictional requirements as well as recommended practices of the FirmCoordinate with attorneys and vendors to continually monitor UCC financing statement status throughout the filing processCoordinate and review UCC Post Filing Searches to confirm correct indexing of UCC Financing StatementsMaintain the Firm?s UCC document management system in compliance with the Firm?s post-closing procedures Job Specifications:Bachelor?s degreeAt least (2) years of work experience with UCC filingsKnowledge of the Uniform Commercial CodeKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize responsibilities and work under tight deadlinesAbility to handle and maintain confidential informationAbility to work in a diverse team environment to effectively support the demanding needs of the FirmSalary commensurate with experience level and the marketFull benefits, discretionary bonus and potential overtime
