They work with a wide range of equipment and are looking for a Machine Tool Service Engineer to join their small but growing team. Current job titles could include: CNC Setter, CNC Operator, CNC Programmer, Trainee CNC Service Engineer Commutable from Nuneaton, Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Derby, Nottingham, Daventry, Northampton, Stoke and Sheffield. Duties Include - Machine Tool Technician/Service Engineer: - Machine maintenance and servicing - Carrying out barfeed alignments - Replacing parts and consumables as necessary - Reporting on machine condition and recommending any further service work to be undertaken - The majority of travel to client sites is within the Midlands area but the role is UK-based travel, with an average of 1.5 nights away per week. - Average of under 50 hours worked per week including travel. Key Skills / Experience Required - Machine Tool Field Service Engineer: - The candidate must have strong mechanical knowledge and would ideally have a basic understanding of electrical circuits. An understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems would also be an advantage. - Experience/competence with Fanuc controls. - Full clean UK driving licence. - Previous experience of setting, operating or maintaining CNC lathes. - Mechanical or Electrical qualifications.
