We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Candidates for this position must be active, imaginative, and consistent in their commitment to assisting our guests. If this describes you, we'd want to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads• Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks• Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment• Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues• Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines Qualifications: • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED• Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software• This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.• Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills About Company: We're next to I-80, a few miles away from the Aksarben Shopping Center. The University of Nebraska Omaha campus is under three miles away and it's six miles to Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Downtown Omaha attractions like the CHI Health Center and the Old Market are eight miles away.
