Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, at a specialist Ophthalmic Hospital based in Chelmsford, which is in need of an enthusiastic, highly motivated and reliable Registered General Nurse or Scrub Nurse to join their Ophthalmology team on a permanent basis. Please find below further details with regards to the position and the person specification. SHIFTS: Monday to Saturday SHIFT PATTERNS: 4 out of 6 days 8am-6pm with 1 Saturday in every 4. The Role In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting ophthalmic surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. Prepare the operating room and sterile equipment for ophthalmic surgical procedures. Assist ophthalmic surgeons during surgeries, maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments and supplies as needed. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively assist in ensuring smooth and efficient procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning as required. The Person 12 months minimum UK NHS experience working as a General Nurse or Scrub Nurse Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council NMC as a Registered Nurse RN. Experience working in Ophthalmology is desirable but not essential as the successful candidate will receive full training. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
