If so, then you've come to the right place!Watch our video hereGeneral SummaryThe Truck Driver transports goods and raw materials over land to job sites.Starting wage $27 - $34/hour. Health benefits available 1st of month following date of hire.Essential Job Accountabilities * This Driver must be capable of moving equipment, hauling drill cuttings and/or fluids in a safe and professional manner. * Load, unload and secure load as per DOT laws and Layne Christensen Company policies. * Capable of maintaining and turning in DOT log book, driver report, and receipts in a timely manner. * Maintain valid Class A CDL license, with Tanker and Haz-Mat Endorsement * Requires extensive out of town and/or out of state work including overnight and weekend travel * Inspect loads properly * Able to direct helper when neededEducation * High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experienceCertification * Technical school certification preferred. * Class A drivers license with a tanker endorsementWork Experience * Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience of professional driving experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to read blueprints. * Proficient in basic math. * Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment. * Good communication skills. * Good organizational skills.Additional Requirements/SkillsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. * The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a small hand tools. * The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. * The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Must be able to pass drug screen and fit for duty physical. * Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment * Ability and willingness to abide by the Company's Code of Conduct on a daily basisOur Benefits at a Glance:Building tomorrow starts with you, and Granite knows that you can excel only if we support you in and out of the workplace.
