Support Worker - Doncaster Are you a passionate, dedicated Support Worker looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Support Worker to join the Adults Health & Well-being team based in Doncaster. Umbrella Pay- £15.29 per hour05/02/2024 – 2 months initially Rota basis including days, evenings and nights shifts times- 7am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 7am – Office based The role: Provide care support for adults who have a learning disability and or associated physical disabilities, meeting the needs of the adults at the supported living service. To implement and support in the use of outcome-based support plans, which are person-centred and help the individuals to make informed choices and decisions, enabling them to clarify and express their needs to achieve outcomes, manage risk and contribute to Service Planning. Responsibility to ensure that any concern about the alleged abuse of an Adult at Risk is addressed ensuring that South Yorkshire Safeguarding Adults Procedures are correctly followed and implemented. Active involvement within handover’s, meetings and tenants’ reviews delivering an overview of tenant care where required by the shift Manager in a concise and professional manner. Support tenants with their daily living needs including personal, nutritional, social and emotional in line with their individual support plans. To support tenants with accessing new activities / opportunities and leisure interests to stimulate and encourage independence. To adhere to all regulatory and statutory obligations and Doncaster Council’s Policies, Procedures and Guidelines. Essential: Experience of working with Adults in a Health & Social Care environment Awareness of working in a Community Led Support Model Knowledge of the following: Dementia, Safeguarding Adults, Health and Safety An understanding of the physical, social and emotional needs of the service users Good verbal communication skills and the ability to write legible daily.
