We are seeking to recruit an experienced FF&E Purchasing Manager to join our small and friendly team for an exciting 5 Hotel project based in the North East of England. Location can be anywhere in the country as this role is mainly working from home, but it will require occasional site visits, so the ability to travel to the North East is essential. Duties will include: Liaison with Interior Designer nominated suppliers, (including sourcing alternative suppliers where necessary), discussing project requirements. Maintaining and updating Supplier/Contractor information Analysis of Designer and Architect drawings, FF&E Schedules and Scope of Finishes, quantifying items required. Liaising with Interior Designer and Operator to discuss any design changes/requirements Sending out Enquiries and retrieving/comparing quotations • Compiling FF&E Schedules for various projects Production of FF&E Guestroom, FOH and BOH Budgets Raising orders and invoices, co-ordinating them until delivery, logging onto the relevant schedules. Maintaining budgets, ensuring that there is no overspend. Organising the approval and payment of supplier invoices. Assist with any order/invoice queries and deliveries. Programme in delivery dates. Liaising with Fit Out Contractors regarding delivery times and programme. Liaison with Suppliers regarding roll out dates. Compiling O&M Manuals for completed projects. Attendance at any on-site meetings/Practical Completion as required. Essential Requirements for this role: Use of Microsoft Office, including Excel is essential. Must have experience of Hotel refurbishment inc. the ability to read drawings and understand and do take offs. The ability to communicate at all levels. Use of Viewpoint4Projects is desirable but not essential, full training will be given.
