LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - CONTRACT ROLE - CAMBRIDGESHIRE A leading biomedical organisation are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their team on a contract basis until the end of the year at their development facility within the Cambridgeshire area. This role will work alongside the R&D Scientist to support cell culture maintenance, analysis of samples on analytical equipment, carry out media and buffer preparation, batch checks and oversee laboratory maintenance, cleanliness and general organisation. You will also carry out laboratory maintenance tasks including equipment calibration checks, biological safety cabinet cleaning procedures and the restocking or laboratory consumables. You will ensure compliance around the laboratory area is being met at all times, resolve issues efficiently and maintain accurate records of activities carried out within the laboratory. Suitable candidates will have a Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and have at least 2 years working experience within a laboratory environment.
