Posting End Date: Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC This Intern position will be working on a part: time, hourly basis while enrolled in university classes. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Work in the Intelligent Automation Department of the Finance organization to develop automation solutions via the Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Platform software platforms. Primary responsibility of this role is to utilize provided software to automate repetitive and well: defined rule: based business processes. Role includes reviewing process documentation, participating in the design and development of the automation, and testing of the completed automated solution. Additional areas of responsibility may include work on special assignments or research of emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) or cloud database management. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop automation solutions for Business Units within Entergy. Create documentation to memorialize the scope of the automation that has been developed and to provide operational support of the automation. Report progress to leadership on a predefined schedule and demonstrate productivity. Meet regularly with internal business customers to gain an understanding of processes and provide progress updates. Help with the support and automation of business processes while ensuring compliance and service levels. Support enterprise: wide automation efforts. Minimum education required of the position : Pursuing undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field. Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher required (on a 4.0 scale). Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position : Familiarity with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, C Programming Language, and.
