As the Lead Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in producing detailed thermal designs for our Heat Exchanger products, meeting our clients' unique requirements and pushing the boundaries of technology in the process. Key Responsibilities: Innovative Design: Lead the development of detailed thermal designs for Heat Exchanger products, leveraging your expertise to meet client specifications and process data. Cutting-Edge Technology: Participate in the development of GES Net Zero products, including Hydrogen, Energy Storage, and Carbon Capture, contributing to groundbreaking solutions for a sustainable future. R&D Leadership: Lead or participate in GES-funded R&D projects focused on Hydrogen and Energy Storage, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Market Knowledge: Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the Heat Exchanger market and the latest available technologies, ensuring our designs remain at the forefront of the industry. Supplier Relationships: Identify and develop relationships with suppliers of Heat Exchanger media and related materials and equipment, ensuring we have access to the best resources for our projects. Client Collaboration: Liaise with clients to understand and address their requirements, challenging and developing them where necessary to ensure the best outcomes. Proposal Development: Assist the Engineering Director in completing proposals, preparing comprehensive documents, and attending clarification meetings to secure contracts and maintain high-level client relationships. Technical Excellence: Lead colleagues in continuously improving the company's working practices, ensuring technical risks are identified, minimized, and acceptable, and supporting the sale of Heat Exchangers through high-quality, competitive proposals. .
