Geotechnical Engineer Reference: BY1218 Location: Northampton Salary: GBP27,000 : GBP34,000 This geotechnical and environmental consultancy based in Northampton are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team on a variety of exiting geo: environmental/ground investigation projects. The opportunity provides excellent career progression opportunities, allowing you to take a new step in your career towards increased responsibility, support to chartership and varied and exciting projects. The geotechnical engineer selected will be offered: A competitive salary (GBP27,000 : GBP34,000, depending on experience). To be considered for the ground investigation position you should have geotechnical engineering experience, with an understanding on geo: environmental principles. You should have a degree in applied geology, geography, environmental science or a similar relevant subject. You must live commutable to Northampton, hold a full UK Driving licence and have a full right to work in the UK. The geotechnical engineer role will entail a wide range of responsibilities day to day. Youll be contributing to factual and interpretive report writing, Phase 1 desk studies, site investigations, soil and rock logging, training more junior members of the team and liaising with clients.
