Randstad are currently looking for a Site Engineer, to work across the East Anglian area, in particular, Peterborough, for one of their long term clients. Location: Peterborough Contract type: Permanent Start date: ASAP Salary: GBP45 : GBP50k (depending upon experience) Randstad CPE Contact: Louise Pridmore (Maidstone branch) The Project: This client has a diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes ranging from access road improvements, public realm works, highways schemes, water treatment works, marine works and specialist framework projects. The specific projects that you would be working on initially would be water treatment. Therefore, experience in this area would be advantageous. The Role: This is the perfect opportunity working with a well known civils contractor, who hold an excellent reputation Nationwide. This role will be site based, with the occasional need to spend time in the Head Office. You will be responsible for: Setting out areas, using drawings provided Quality Assurance Carrying out precise works to project specifications Keeping site records and diaries Writing and reviewing RAMS ITPs Health and Safety compliance Liaising with site staff Requirements: Degree / HND qualified Auto CAD Use of Total Stations or GPS Experience in : highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks and special works Ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly and concisely Excellent communicator both written and verbal Ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines Ability to work within a team If this role is of interest to you, please get in touch by responding to this advert or sending your CV directly to me: Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality. .
