Host Location: Bognor Regis Salary: A GBP 10.42 : A GBP 10.92 per hour Job Type: Part Time, Permanent Hours: 28 hours a week, 7: hour shifts working weekdays on rota basis, including flexible weekends. The Role Oakland Court, located in the heart of Felpham, is looking for a Host, to work as part of a team working under the supervision of the Chef on duty. The Host is responsible for maintaining the high standards of food service and presentation to provide a three: course lunch and dinner service for approximately 42 people daily following a pre: planned menu of homely traditional food. In addition to plating food and serving residents, preparing dining rooms to Silver Service standards, discussing meal choices with residents from the daily menu, maintaining the kitchen and dining area to a high standard, ensuring they are well: stocked and clean, and providing refreshments to residents between meals will be part of your duties. Key Responsibilities Welcome visitors to the home and ensure that they are offered a drink on arrival. Provide snacks and drinks when required. Ensure residents receive meals at the correct times. Re stock snack station and maintain throughout the shift. Ensure rooms are stocked with a fresh supply of water or bottled water. Have a visible presence in the dining room at mealtimes offering support to residents and assistance to resident with eating meals. Ensure the dining room and lounge and kept clean and in the best condition. To ensure dietary requirements for residents are adhered to. Serve teas and coffees to communal areas and residents rooms. Answer room bells and assist where required. Undertake all mandatory and online training. Remain updated with Company Policies and Procedures and the CQC and other appropriate agencies. Attend training organised by the Company, including all mandatory training and any additional as required. Follow the guidelines including the opening and closing procedures.
