<p>Job Duties:</p><p>Responsible for cleaning, inspection and packaging/unpackaging of production units for shipment. Responsible for handling, movement, storage and testing of production units in ovens and RGAs. Responsible for clean unpackaging and handling of production units and loading them safely into the ovens and RGAs. Perform and document final inspections to support shipments. Perform optics assembly or mechanical inspections, depending on the candidate’s past work experience.</p><ol><li>Perform optics assembly or mechanical inspections, depending on the candidate’s past work experience.</li><li>Responsible for operating, cleaning, and maintaining the Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA), vacuum ovens and related tools & fixtures.</li><li>Responsible for clean unpackaging and handling of production units and loading them safely into the ovens and RGAs.</li><li>Perform particle inspections and packaging of production units to be shipped to the customer.</li><li>Perform end-of-line fiber or optics inspections to support shipments.</li></ol><ul><li>2 years’ experience as a technician working on assembly or inspections at a fiber and optics manufacturer.</li><li>Able to follow cleaning and operating instructions meticulously.</li><li>Assembly experience at a fiber/optics manufacturing line will be an added advantage.</li><li>Availability to work during Swing shift is preferred but not a must</li><li>2 years’ experience as a Production Operator, Assembler or Technician working on assembly or inspections at a fiber and optics manufacturer are preferred</li><li>Production Operator, Assembler or Technician with electronics with sensitive / delicate devices that require careful handling</li><li>Experience in a role where product inspection, cleanliness and temperature sensitivity is an important factor. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.</li></ul>
