Job Title: Senior Ecologist Salary: GBP30,000 : GBP40,000 Location: Oxford We are seeking a Senior Ecologist to join of the UKs longest: running Environmental Consultancies. They are a small consultancy in Oxford that gives nationwide and overseas coverage to energy and utilities companies, mineral companies, developers, conservation bodies and more. As a Senior Ecologist you will be responsible for completing a variety of protected species surveys, overseeing protected species licence applications and mitigation, writing a range of ecological reports, helping with junior members of the team, liaising with clients, project managers and stakeholders and preparing fee proposals. To be considered you will need to be within commuting distance to Oxford and be willing to work from the office throughout the week. You will also need to have proven experience of completing habitat surveys and/or protected species surveys, have excellent report writing skills, be comfortable designing surveys, hold a full driving licence and use of a car, hold membership with CIEEM and hold one or more protected species licences.
