We are currently working with a large residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Susinteraction, seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support their team. Job Description: We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated HCAs to join our client's team at their residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to residents. Shift Types: Combination of day and night shifts, average shift duration of 12-12.5 hours Key Responsibilities: Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance. Supporting residents with medication administration as per care plans and protocols. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. Assisting with meal preparation and feeding if required. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care and observations. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents. Promoting a safe and supportive environment for residents and adhering to health and safety protocols. Job Requirements: Mandatory Training in care and support, such as the UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF Mandatory Training) or the Care Certificate. Dementia awareness training. Previous experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently. Drivers desirable due to rural location.
